D’Arcy Bain, BPT

Owner, D’Arcy Bain Physiotherapy

D’Arcy became interested in physiotherapy after working with the high school football team for 2 years while in high school. He was interested in the idea of helping athletes of all levels return to their sport at the highest level of function. As a professional, the smiles and thanks from those returning to their sport was very rewarding. D’Arcy’s philosophy of treatment is to make the rehabilitation program active, progressive and interesting.  D’Arcy wants to enhance the speed of recovery, healing and return to activity on the shortest time line using his experience and knowledge. He enjoys educating patients on their condition, advising on activities to enhance recovery and systems to prevent or stop re-injury. D’Arcy enjoyed many successful years of coaching Ringette, girls Fast-Pitch Softball and Hockey. D’Arcy has 5 daughters with names all starting with the letter ‘J’.  He is also a proud grandfather of 2 granddaughters and counting. With this philosophy in mind, she strives to teach patients to be active participants in their treatment and helps them to create sustainable changes that will prevent injuries later on.
